Colombo Uptown in keeping with its tradition of hosting at least one District event
successfully hosted the District Training Seminar for incoming Assistant Governors
and District Chairmen of Committees on Sunday.
The District Training Seminar for incoming District Officials is a key event in the
Rotary calendar and our club has been privileged to be given the opportunity to
host such an event.
The seminar was facilitated by DGE Thariq with the assistance of several Past District
Governors who handled key aspects of the day’s programme.
The seminar was an outstanding success and a feather in the cap for Colombo
Uptown. President Raj and his project team of PP Joe, Sulochana, Prabath and
Hadjireen deserve a big bouquet for an excellent job.
