Monday was a special day for our club when we inducted another new member into our family.

Ian Marshall is actually not a new member to Rotary and has in fact been a Rotarian since 1985 in his native country New Zealand. A former Club Secretary and Director of Community Service, Ian brings with him a wealth of Rotary experience.

Ian works for the Salvation Army and his job has taken him around the world where he has always maintained his links with Rotary. His recent posting is Sri Lanka and he has been attending the regular meetings of Colombo Uptown for a few months now and has formed close ties with our membership.

All uptowners extend a warm welcome to Ian and look forward to his support in the club’s activities.
